Description
This section is characterized by a combination of characters not occurring in the type section. The rhizome scales are acicular, the leaves simple or imparipinnate (leaves or leaflets about linear), and the indusia are pouch-shaped, or (in Davallia undulata ) connate into a coenosorus.
