Description
Rhizome short, without the scales 4-5 mm in diametre (G. dareaeformis Rhizome). Scales light brown, evenly narrowed towards the apex, 2-10 mm long. Stipes dark brown, 4-15 cm long. Lamina tripinnate or quadripinnate towards base and in the middle part (G. dareaeformis Habitus), deltoid and broadest towards base, or elongate, often narrowing towards base, glabrous, 7-37 cm long by 7-22 cm broad. Longest petiolules 2-6 mm long. Longest pinnae 4.5-20 cm long by 1.5-6 cm broad. Longest pinnules or pinnalobes 15-40 mm long by 6-25 mm broad. Ultimate leaflets linear oblong, lobed almost to the midrib. Ultimate segments 0.5-5 mm long by 0.5-1 mm broad. Sori facing midveins at the bending point (G. dareaeformis SEM, picture of exindusiate sorus).

Hunan 1 coll., Kweichow 3 coll., Kwangsi 7 coll., Yunnan many coll., Hainan 3 coll.).
